Stainless steel processing procedure

1.Processing area: the processing area of stainless steel parts should be relatively fixed.The platform of the stainless steel parts processing area shall adopt isolation measures,such as a rubber pad.In order to prevent the damage and pollution of the stainless steel parts, the management of the stainless steel parts processing area and the civilized production should be strengthened.


2. Blanking: the blanking of stainless steel parts should be cut by shear,plasma,saw etc.

 ① Shear:When shearing, it should be isolated from the feeding bracket,the hopper should also be covered with rubber pads to prevent scratches.

    ② Plasma cutting: After plasma cutting, the slag should be cleaned up. Batch cut : The finished parts should be cleaned out in time to prevent cutting slag on the workpiece.

 ③Sawing cutting: when sawing cutting, the clamping should be protected by rubber.Clean up the oil and residue on the workpiece after sawing.


3.Mechanical processing: stainless steel parts should also pay attention to protection when machining such as turning and milling.we should clean up the surface of the workpiece oil, iron and other debris after the completion of the operation.


4.Forming process: We should adopt useful measures to prevent the surface scratches and creases of stainless steel parts in the process of rolling and bending.


5.Rivet weld: When the stainless steel parts are in pairs, the forced assembly should be prevented, especially the flame roasting school assembly.If plasma cutting is selected temporarily in the process of manufacturing, isolation measures should be adopted to prevent contamination of other stainless steel parts by cutting slag.After cutting, the slag on the workpiece should be cleaned up.


6.Welding: It is necessary to carefully remove oil, rust, dust and other sundries before welding stainless steel.When welding,pls try to use argon arc welding. When selecting manual arc welding, use low current and quick welding to prevent swing.Prevent arc ignition in the non-welding area, the ground line is in the appropriate position, the connection is firm, in order to prevent arc abrasion.Anti-spatter measures (such as whitewash) should be adopted when welding.After welding, clean up slag and spatter with flat shovel of stainless steel (not carbon steel).


7.Multilayer welding: when multilayer welding, it is necessary to eradicate the slag between layers,the temperature between layers should be controlled, generally not more than 60.


8. Welding seams: The welding joints shall be ground, and there shall be no slag, pores, undercut, spatter, crack, non-fusion, non-penetration and other defects on the surface of the welding seams.Weld and base metal should be smooth transition, not lower than the base metal.


9.Orthopedic: We should prevent the use of flame heating method, especially do not allow repeated heating of the same area when stainless steel parts orthopedic.Pls try to choose mechanical device or with a wooden hammer (rubber hammer) or pad rubber pad hammer, prohibit hammer hit with iron hammer, in order to prevent damage to stainless steel parts.


10.Transfer: When stainless steel parts are transferred in the process of processing, use the means of transport (such as small car, battery car or crane, etc.), and should be clean with isolation protection measures, to prevent dust, oil, rust pollution of stainless steel.Prevent direct drag on the platform or the ground, and stop bumping and scratching.
